We've taken the kids snow tubing on Snoqualmie Pass a few other times, so they've been bugging us for a couple months now about going. Especially since we don't get much snow down here, they were eager to go where there's a lot more. With Brock being on call so much, we took advantage of a weekend he wasn't on call and went up. We have always done the night session, but thought we'd head up for the afternoon session without thinking we'd need to buy tickets ahead of time. We got all the way up there just to find out that their afternoon session was full…GRRR! At first, we thought there was just too much time between that point and the time the night session started (which still had tickets available) to stay up there, but the kids were not going to let us leave at this point.
We found some areas for the kids to play in the snow, went and purchased the tickets for the night tubing, ate at a pancake house, stopped at a gas station so Brock could pick up a couple cans of brewskis and by that point, it was time to tube, so it all worked out in the end. It just made for a much longer/later day than we were expecting.
However, the kids had a blast in the snow…lots and lots of smiles, so it was all worth it.

We totally wanted to take Maeve to do this this year...but we learned just sledding down our driveway was too scary for her so we have to wait another year. lol
