My parents had the ENTIRE family (minus William because of the heavy snow, especially in Portland) over for my Halmoni's birthday. I can't believe I forgot to get a picture with her and all of her kids and their spouses, grandkids, and great-grandkids…GRRR!

Happy Lady.
It's so nice to have all of the family around to see Halmoni. As poor as her health has been, she's been doing so well lately. So much of it has to do with the amazing care she receives living with my parents. My mom is an amazing caregiver. She feeds her SO well, bathes her, stays on top of her medication and insulin, and is just there for her, like a daughter and best friend. My dad takes on a huge role as well, taking her to appointments and picking up her medication on a regular basis. She's lucky to have such a large family who loves her and sees her often, but we're all so much luckier to have such a caring, loving matriarch. |
