Malibu Wakesetter

We spent a good portion of February and March "shopping" for a boat.  We went to the Seattle Boat Show in the beginning of February and that got the juices flowing.  We initially went there, looking for pontoon boats, almost certain that was what we wanted.  Of course we somehow made our way to the Malibu Wakesetters.  We left with a brochure, but no solid thoughts on actually buying one, considering the fact that they were way out of the price range we wanted to be in.  We continued "shopping", going to both pontoon boat dealers and also dealers who sold wake boarding boats.

Ultimately, we (or more Brock) decided on a wake boarding boat, and then later more specifically, a Wakesetter.  Brock, the negotiator did a lot of research and shopped online and over the phone with a few dealerships, not only in Washington, but in surrounding states as well.  He ended up finding the best price for the boat we wanted in Salenas, California.

And yes, of course he decided to buy it and then make the trek down to get it.  Thankfully, Jeremy was up for the drive and went with him.  They left on a Thursday afternoon and got back home with the boat Saturday morning! On Friday morning, they arrived a bit early, so were at least able to have breakfast at Pebble Beach.
