Here are Brody's stats at 15/16 months old:
- he is just above average in height (31.75 inches long)
- he is just below average in weight (23.13 lbs)
- he LOVES music...he loves to dance whenever he hears music and he loves to be sung to
- he loves playing games with you...favorites are Itsy-Bitsy Spider, This Little Piggy, and Peek-a-Boo...the usuals
- he is very verbal now...words he uses pretty consistently: mom, dad, ball, go, ga (dog), pop, hi, bye, woof (when asked what a doggy says) ***They say a baby his age should say maybe 6 words, but also boys maybe less than girls.
- he signs to help communicate with us: please, sorry, more/again, and we're still working on thank you....hmmm?
- he understands pretty much everything we say to him now...for example, if we tell him it's time for a bath, he runs to the gate and says, "ba, ba" and makes splashing motions
- he loves to be read to...his favorite books are "Goodnight, Gorilla" and "Jamberry"...when he knows it's bedtime, he'll go to his books and grab either one or both of these books and will giggle, make "ooh" sounds and pay attention throughout the story

- he's had a loss of appetite in the last couple of weeks, but Dr. O'Leary says that is normal for a boy his age, as he is not growing as much right now
- he still drinks milk from a bottle and we know we need to break him of that, but we're not quite there yet
- he loves balls, especially when he's also got a golf club...you can usually find him around the house with a ball of some sort in one hand and a golf club in the other...he's got many plastic golf clubs, but insists on finding and then playing with Maddi's REAL irons
- he also likes playing with blocks, preferably stacking them or having you stack them as high as he likes just to knock them down
- he's in a mommy phase, where he needs me and all of my attention ALOT of the time...I'm trying not to get so frustrated about it because I know there will come a day when he'll be too busy to want any of my attention, but it proves to be really hard when I have things I need/want to get done
