We tried something different this fall for Brody and put him into the Tumwater Soccer Club, and at his age, that meant going to "practices" every Tuesday and Friday instead of practice one day and game the other. Our experience with the whole thing was OKAY, but we're not sure we would do it again. Brody never ended up in the same group every week with the same "coaches" like he was supposed to and some weeks ended up with some duds as his "coaches". There were also many days when Brody either didn't want to go or when he did go refused to play, cried, or would lay on the grass. Seriously?! Needless to say, we are thrilled that his "season" is over and are thinking we'll wait to sign him up for soccer again when he can let us know that he is ready and wants to play.

| the whole group...we stayed until dark for them to get the entire group of 4-7 year olds still enough to get a decent group shot. Brody was a trooper until he fell on the bleachers and another kid stepped on his hand; then it was over and I pulled him away and we left. Don't think we're going to make the final cut for the team picture...NICE! |
