I have gone to the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge quite a few times over the years (field trips when I taught 5th grade, Maddi's field trip in 2nd grade, and then once with the kids and my mom). We've been wanting to take the kids for a walk there for a while and finally took the opportunity a couple of Saturdays ago and went all the way down the boardwalk. When you get to the end, you can see Dupont, Anderson Island, the Narrows Bridge and not to mention the view of Mt. Rainier was pretty spectacular...it was pretty cool!
It was the first time Maisie sat in a stroller (every other attempt she would get pissed off the second you started to buckle her). She was such a gem that day. She only fussed once with a poopy diaper and downed a whole bottle and then again later when she got tired enough in the stroller and wanted to pass out in the Ergo.
It ended up being a longer day than we anticipated, and other than it getting pretty hot towards the end, it was a good way to spend the day!
