| having cake the night before his birthday because the kids were upset they wouldn't get to spend Daddy's actual birthday with him since we had other plans (see below). Maddi baked this blue raspberry cake all by herself and decorated it with fresh fruit (with Mommy's help cutting the fruit). We loved how colorful it was, but was just as delicious as it looked! |

| soaking in a Nickel Creek concert @ Chateau Ste. Michele Winery. This was Brock's birthday treat from Nate & Diana and what a great treat! Brock and I had never been up to Woodinville wine country, so it was even better. It just makes me want to get up there again and see (and TASTE) some more! |
