Maddi's First Violin Recital

Maddi has been taking violin lessons since January and since has performed at her school's talent show and performed in her first official "recital".  For this spring recital, she performed "Lightly Row" and the same fiddle song she played for her talent show, "The Cabbage Song".  She also played a version of Twinkle with the other students.  She does not love practicing during the week, but somehow loves learning and playing the violin and luckily it showed!  We were very proud of her!  We are very thankful for her teacher, Ginger, who has been so patient and taught her SO much in the bit of time we've been with her.  While she is taking a break from most things over the summer, violin was one we decided she'd continue through the summer...we'll see how practicing goes!
