Brock coached Brody's U4/U5 soccer team this spring and let's just say it takes someone with ALOT of patience to deal with a bunch of 4 and 5 year olds. The girls were great, but the boys were in another world, Brody included. In his defense, he was one of the youngest players on the team (it ranged from just turned 4 to about to turn 6 and that is quite a range at that age). Still, he was one of the MOST aloof players on the team. He really was so much different on the soccer team than either one of us imagined he would be. We'll chalk it up to the age and if we decide to sign him up for the fall (we are definitely taking a break for the summer!), I told Brock he should just pass on the coaching duties to someone else, so we can sit in our chairs on the sideline and watch and laugh without the stress of babsitting, er coaching. Despite it all, it is still so much fun to watch them play at this age...lots of laughs, that is for sure!

LOL I can only imagine Brody out there, but you grabbed some awesome pics. It's all for the memories, right? :)
