Lucky for us, Brock got a stomach bug overnight and pretty much missed out on Christmas Day altogether :( This dumb bug has been working it's way down Wildwood Lane and we weren't able to get out of it unscathed. Not only did Brock get it pretty bad, so did poor little Brody who threw up a couple times throughout the day. Luckily, kids are so resilient, he did not let it entirely ruin his Christmas. We did do stockings and opened all of our presents from each other and from Santa in the morning. The kids made out. But of course that wasn't it. We left Brock on the couch and headed down to my parents for more presents and a delicious Christmas dinner. It didn't feel right leaving him behind, but at the same time, he really needed the quiet and rest time. Santa of course also took a trip down to Littlerock, so if the kids didn't think they got enough at our house, they should have gotten their fill down there. Outside of the boys getting sick, we had a nice Christmas with lots of great presents, family, friends, and yummy food!
