trip to Cannon Beach

We generally don't go anywhere during summer vacation, so we can enjoy the lake while the weather is nice enough. So, we usually try to make it out to Cannon Beach sometime in late summer/early fall. We hadn't been back there since we went for Brock's birthday last year. The weather crapped out on us the first 2 days we were there, but then of course the sun showed up our last day there. We made the most of our couple days there, going to Seaside for some fun, swimming LOTS and LOTS in the hotel pool, and enjoying the beach our last day.

Throughout the whole weekend we were at the hotel, Brody would bring us his life jacket and point to the door, meaning, " I want to go swimming, now!"
