There were no surprises at his 18 month well visit. He is still just under average in weight and just above average in height. He is really thinning out...one reminder that he is not a baby anymore (really missing the chubby rolls). He rocked on his developmental test...doing all the things a 24 month old should be doing. What can we say...we've got a smarty =) Dr. O'Leary gets a kick out of him every time...he is always on his best behavior and is so outgoing! The downfall of the appointment would have to be the flu shot he got, although all in all, he did fabulously well!
Foods he is loving:
- rice (especially wrapped in seaweed)
- anything spicy that Halmoni feeds him (kimchi especially!)...he is so a Korean boy
- fruits, especially grapes, peaches, and melon
- CHEESE (clearly he does not get this from Mommy)
- yogurt
- eggs
- cereal
- any meat we give him
What Brody LOVES:
- dancing...the boy has some serious moves!
- books...he absolutely loves to be read to and will make sure he is not put to bed without a bedtime story first
- watching Kipper the Dog (was also Sissy's favorite)
- feeding our kitty, Darby
- babbling...there are so many words he wants to share with us!
- saying "DADn" (yes, he adds an N at the end)
- Mommy (he's in a Mommy phase right now, probably because she's gone back to work and he doesn't get to see her all day like he did in the summertime)
- bathtime
- brushing his teeth (does NOT love if someone else is)
- talking to Pop on Skype
- babies
- Mom
- Dad
- Sissy
- kitty
- bye bye
- no
- baby
- ball
- cheese
- Pop
- dog
- thank you (his own version)
- sorry (in sign language)
- peek-a-boo (in Korean)
- piggy back (in Korean)
- he can count 1, 2, 3 (in English and Korean)
