Brody's first visit to Santa!

We had a great family day today. We took Maddi to ballet this morning, went to Pellegrino's for breakfast (our favorite breakfast spot), then took the kids to the mall for Santa photos...WHAT A MAD HOUSE! We had a couple of things to do in there but could not wait to get done and get out! We came home and just hung out...after being away from the kids last weekend and both of us having a busy week (as usual), it was nice to just be with the kids all day.

Brody LOVED Santa...he kept pulling at his beard and the white fur on his Santa suit. Maddi was mainly concerned that Santa wouldn't know that she wanted the dog that not only walked, but also POOPED. I told her not to worry, that he got the message...We're thinking Santa is going to pull through with this one.


When we got home, Santa e-mailed Mom a video message for Maddi...she was genuinely surprised and later told me she had a pretty special day because Santa sent her a message. I want to embrace these innocent moments because I know they won't last forever!
