Maddi was awarded the Student of the Month award in her class for being a "Reading All-Star" for the month of October. There's a theme every month (for being kind, responsible, safe, respectful, etc.). When Maddi heard what the theme was for October, she "knew this was the award for her". Guess she was right!
The Mariner Moose even made an appearance at this assembly, to reward the school for having such high attendance on the National Walk to School Day (which Maddi and I did not participate in :/
We're so proud of you Maddi!
