Getting ready to leave.
Posing before we go in to begin. Maddi had her very first performance of any kind today. I don't know who was more excited...her or us. It was held @ the Thurston County Fairgrounds and was called the Three Little Piggy Opera. They began by waving ribbons to a song called, "Hands Up" and walking around for all to see. Then they began the "opera". There were just a few kids who had main parts and the rest of the kiddos sat their cute little blue Ikea seats and sang from their seats in their piggy ears and noses. They ended the performance by signing to "We are the World"...I'm pretty sure the version from the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics. This was absolutely precious. Maddi has now made her stage debut and will anxiously wait for her ballet debut in June.
